This project was built in 2007 in the Haight district of San Francisco California. It was a backyard full of weeds with a slope that made the access difficult to walk thru and to entertain in. We terraced it into 3 areas and divided the space into 3 different rooms with a wide decomposed granite walkway to access all of them. We also added a 2 zone drip irrigation system to help the roses along and keep the rest of the plantings thriving without wasting too much water. This picture was taken one year later from the time we planted it.
The owners have been using their outdoor space and have been enjoying their backyard ever since.
