This project started in April 2010. The planning and sketches took about 5 months to prepare and finalize. The vertical wall system is made by Tournesol siteworks of Fremont. The installation took 8 weeks to finished. It is irrigated by a drip system with a fertigation tank. We will keep you posted on the maintenance and care of this wall. This vertical wall faces due North and is installed in a residence in the Pacific Heights district of San Francisco. It is planted with bonsais, ivies, mosses, ferns, orchids, fuchsias, daphnes,junipers, cypresses, succulents and grasses. It is 12 feet high and 28 feet long.
